Making a tax-deductible contribution to FISH Hospitality Pantries, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, is the most effective way to share food and create true community. We spend 94 percent of the money donated to us on our food relief and community programs, and only six percent on operations and other overhead expenses.
Since FISH Pantries welcomes all who are hungry, we do not receive any state or federal funding. Instead, we rely on tremendous support from churches, businesses, foundations, and compassionate community members like you. Your gift, no matter the amount, truly makes a positive difference in the lives of hungry people right here in our community. Thank you.
FISH Hospitality Pantries
is a volunteer organization.
Our people reflect the economic, ethnic, and religious diversity of the neighborhoods where our pantries are located and of the wider Knox County community. Their combined perspectives and shared values of hospitality create a welcoming place where all are treated with dignity and respect.
FISH Pantries volunteers serve in
a variety of roles, such as:
• greeting pantry guests
• assisting guests with food
selections
• repacking bulk food products
• picking up donations
• working in the food warehouse.
We need the insights, gifts,
and talents of many people to end hunger. Just a few hours per week helps others enormously.
